El Centre d’Art Contemporani i Sostenibilitat (CACiS) es troba al municipi de Calders, a 5 Km del nucli del poble, a la Comarca natural del Moianès i a la comarca Bages. La comarca natural del Moianès, està situada a l'Altiplà central, té una extensió de 335 km2, i 11011 habitants (1/01/2003). En aquesta porció de territori de transició entre el Pre Pirineu i el Pre-litoral hi trobem 10 municipis, dels quals cinc pertanyen administrativament al Bages (Calders, Moià, l'Estany, Monistrol de Calders i Sta Maria d'Oló), quatre al Vallès Oriental (Castellcir, Castellterçol, Granera i St Quirze Safaja), i un a Osona (Collsuspina).
El Centre d’Art i Sostenibilitat disposa de 4 infraestructures i espais exteriors:

Espai Escènic
Edifici amb l’espai d’exposicions temporals on s’acollen projectes diversos al llarg de l’any: pintura, escultura, fotografia, instal•lacions i projectes multimèdia. i la sala permanent on s’exposa un recull històric i tècnic dels forns de Calç de Calders
Edifici annex, on es realitzen seminaris, tallers, xerrades, residencia per artistes amb estada vinculada a la realització d’un projecte, tallers educatius i/o seminaris.
Espais exteriors per la realització de intervencions, estudis, instal•lacions i treballs de art/ ciència/ tecnologia i/o experimentació amb la natura com element de recerca
Antics Forns de Calç
Cacis rep el nom de Forn de la Calç per aquesta infraestructura industrial que ha estat inclosa pel Museu de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya, del Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat, entre els 150 elements més destacats del Patrimoni Industrial de Catalunya. Com a reconeixement de la singularitat dels edificis i amb criteri d’autenticitat, de testimoniatge industrial, històric, social i arquitectònic, de valor paisatgístic i territorial i de valor estètic i artístic.

Edificio con el espacio de exposiciones temporales donde se acogen proyectos diversos a lo largo del año: pintura, escultura, fotografía, instalaciones y proyectos multimedia. y la sala permanente donde se expone una recopilación histórico y técnico de los hornos de Cal de Calders
Edificio anexo, donde se realizan seminarios, talleres, charlas, residencia para artistas con estancia vinculada a la realización de un proyecto, talleres educativos y / o seminarios.
Espacios exteriores para la realización de intervenciones, estudios, instalaciones y trabajos de arte / ciencia / tecnología y / o experimentación con la naturaleza como elemento de investigación

CACiS recibe el nombre de Forn de la Calçl de esta infraestructura industrial que ha sido incluida por el Museo de la Ciencia y de la Técnica de Cataluña, del Departamento de Cultura de la Generalitat, entre los 150 elementos más destacados del Patrimonio Industrial de Cataluña. Como reconocimiento de la singularidad de los edificios y con criterio de autenticidad, de testimonio industrial, histórico, social y arquitectónico, de valor paisajístico y territorial y de valor estético y artístico.
The Center for Art and Sustainability (CACiS) is located in the municipality of Calders, 5 Km. the nuclear village in the Shire's natural and Moianès Bages in the region. The region's natural Moianès, is located in the Central Highlands, has a stretch of 335 km2 and 11,011 inhabitants (1/01/2003). Building with the space for temporary exhibitions where we will accommodate to various Projects throughout the year: painting, sculpture, photography, multimedia installations and Projects. Permanente and the room where you are exposed a European historical and tecnic of Calders lime kilns
Building ANEXA, where it are made seminars, workshops, Talks, residence for artists stay connected with the realization of a Project, educational workshops and / or seminars.

CACiS welcomes the number of the Oven of industrial infrastructure needed for this has been by including the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia, the Department of Culture of the Government, among the 150 most important Parts Industrial Heritage of Catalonia. As recognition of the singularity of the buildings and with criterion of authenticity of testimony industrial, historical, social and architectural value of land and coastline and the artistic and aesthetic value.
