Cultsurfing Professional Meeting
October 15 to 16 2013
CultSurfing is an initiative
promoted by the Culture Institute of Barcelona (Barcelona City Council)
and the Catalan Government with the aim of cataloguing, connecting and
highlighting unique cultural projects of the Catalan Countries. Embedded
in this framework is the Cultsurfing Professional Meeting, which will take place on October 15 and 16 at Fabra i Coats. It is conceived as a working meeting for culture professionals
and seeks to create a platform to foster connections within the
industry and the exchange of ideas between disciplines, territories and
patronage.
During the two day sessions, 20 projects will be presented live and an additional 60 proposals will be featured in the CultSurfing catalogue. Opportunities for interaction among attendess will be created through speedmeetings, sectoral boards and practical lectures aimed at giving visibility to the projects and improving their funding options.
